About the Lab

Founding

The Baudry Lab was founded in Fall 2017 at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) following Dr. Baudry's appointment as the Ms. Pei-Ling Chan Chair Professor of Biological Sciences. Dr. Baudry came to UAH from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and the UT/ORNL Center for Molecular Biophysics in Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

The Baudry Lab in a few words:

We work in drug discovery research. We use computers to look at how natural chemicals from nature may lead to novel, effective pharmaceuticals with fewer side effects than 'regular drugs' against a variety of diseases. We are particularly interested in mental health, disease prevention, and vaccine design.

We collaborate with several academic and industrial partners in open science projects.
